Due to hatch second week of October ‘24
As we had a low hatch rate with customers missing out on the beautiful big Brahma our first hatch, we have sourced Partridge Brahma from Western Australian Breeder Hillside Hens.
Brahma are the largest chicken breed currently in Australia but don’t let their size fool you. They are gentle giants with a calm personality and subtle yet striking feather pattern.
Brahma do require shade and cool water to escape the Broome heat (as most breeds do).
A true bantam breed! With regular handling, these tiny packages make great family pets and add an element of extreme cuteness to your flock.
Being a bantam, their egg production is on the lower end of the scale so I would recommend Pekin for those that want a chicken with a lovely, docile personality and not for egg production. Though when they do lay, they provide beautiful mini sized eggs equally as tasty and healthy as their large counterpart.
Sourced from Sinead’s Poultry Paradise.
From The Hillview Hatch located in Comobella, NSW and Agia-Skepi Chittering Valley, WA.
This hatch was organised for a customer wishing to breed their own chicks on their property in the future via broody hen. We suggested different bloodlines to avoid any line-breeding.
Australorp are a calm, friendly and docile breed making them great for families. They aren’t great fliers making them good for backyards.
Australorps are great egg layers, laying approx. 250 light-brown medium sized eggs per year.

Silkie chickens are cherished for their unique and captivating appearance, featuring soft, fluffy plumage. Their docile temperament makes them suitable for children, while their adaptability to confinement makes them ideal for urban or backyard settings.
We will have a limited hatch of Black, Blue, Splash & Buff. Another Silkie hatch will occur the following month to meet all our requests.
Sourced from Chloe’s Poultry, a boutique breeder located in Narre Warren North South East Melbourne.
Cream Legbars are known for laying either beautiful light blue or light green eggs. To clarify, each individual bird will lay either blue or green eggs (not both colors from the one bird).
Cream Legbars start laying their first egg around 5-6 months of age and lay 150-200 eggs a year.
The Import Line stay true to carrying the cream gene and salmon chest, compared to the darker shade Aust line.
From the dedicated breeders Hooked On Chooks, located in Waruman, QLD.
We were able to secure half our waitlisted order of a small batch of the following breeds;
• Bantam chocolate Orpington
• Harlequin/Wheaten Pekin
• Milliefleur/Porcelain Pekin
• Bantam Salmon Favorelle
These are very limited numbers so we will update our chick availability after hatch. We will have a repeat incubation of these breeds in the following hatch.
